The Houston Cougar Soccer team will travel to two Big 12 opponents and play host to three home games to highlight the 2017 spring schedule, Head Coach Diego Bocanegra announced Thursday.
The Cougars open their spring slate when they travel to Waco, Texas, to take on Baylor at 2 p.m., Feb. 25. The Bears finished their 2016 season 12-7-1 overall and finished third in the Big 12 conference.
From there, Houston will travel to Austin, to face the Longhorns at 5:30 p.m., March 4. The match against Texas can be seen on the Longhorn Network.
The Cougars return home to face Northwestern State at 7 p.m., March. 10, followed by a match-up against Lamar at 2 p.m., April 1.
The spring season will come to a conclusion at 7:30 p.m. April 12 as the Cougars host Sam Houston State.
All home matches will be played on the Carl Lewis Complex.
