• For the tournament, each day has its own ticket, and that ticket will get you into all of the games on that particular day. For example, a ticket purchased on Friday is good for every game on that day. In addition, Friday is “H” Association Day and all members will get in free with the presentation of the membership pass at the gate. Saturday is $3 tickets, and Sunday will feature a Cowboy hat giveaway.

KEY INNINGS
1st | With two outs in the bottom of the first, Queen plated James, who led off with a hit by pitch, on a double to left field for an early 1-0 lead.

3rd | Houston broke out for four runs in the third. James singled up the middle and advanced to second on a wild pitch to open the bottom frame. With one out, redshirt junior Sarah Barker walked and Queen followed with a single to right field, where a fielding error allowed James to score. After senior left fielder Kaylin Crumpton singled to the pitcher, the Cougars traded an out, off the bat of freshman first baseman Tierrah Williams, for a run. Houston later added two more runs on a wild pitch and RBI single from sophomore center fielder Lindsey Stewart for a 5-0 lead.

7th | SFA got on the board with a solo home run in the seventh for the 5-1 final.

KEY INNINGS
2nd | After the Islanders scored one run in the top of the second inning, Houston responded with five runs in the bottom frame. Williams (double), senior shortstop Mariah Garcia (single) and Heebner (single) all hit safely to load the bases before a sacrifice fly from sophomore center fielder Lindsey Stewart tied the game. With one out, Houston recorded three-straight RBI base hits from James (single), Thomas (single) and Howie (double) to take a 5-1 lead.

6th | In the sixth, freshman Charese Wyatt hit a pinch-hit single up the middle. After a fielder’s choice got the lead runner, Stewart and James recorded consecutive singles to plate an insurance run for the 6-1 final
