Softball Lands 13 on Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete List

For the second year in a row, Houston has seen 10 or more Cougars receive the honor.

During the 2017-18 academic year, Houston’s Sarah Barker, Presley Bell, Kaylin Crumpton, Savannah Heebner, Rachel Hill, Aspen Howie, Meagan McCarver, Trystan Melancon, Kelli Montgomery, Breelyn Thames, Maya Thomas, Brooke Vannoy and Charese Wyattwere all recognized for earning at least a 3.5 GPA.

The impressive thing about this list is that these are players that get a lot of playing time. Some teams fill the end of their bench with athletic superstars in certain sport, but Coach Ves has her players doing well on the field and in the classroom.
