Through 3 innings now
Bell hasn’t given up a hit so far and the only runner was off an error on Howie to the leadoff hitter.
Coogs got a couple of runners on in the 1st, but couldn’t do anything with them. Other than that, they’ve had one baserunner since.
Rain seems to be coming down pretty good now. Still playing in the 4th.
On to the 5th as Bell is still pitching a gem.

Coogs breakthrough! Vannoy walks with 1 out, Barker then bunts, SHSU tries to get Vannoy, but throws the ball all the way to the CF wall. Both Vannoy and Barker score…Coogs lead 2-0
Stewart then hits a bomb to right…Coogs lead 3-0

Probably not. Softball isn’t as worried about preserving arms as baseball is.

That’s what Heebner did last year in the Baton Rouge regional. Coogs have depth there this year.

Yep. I’ve seen on some of the big time programs where the #1 Pitcher pitches 3-4 gms over 3 days or what amounts to only 48 hr span.
