C’mon Apple Dumpling Gang…please, he was shaky, at best…yeah, yeah he had a winning record at UH…that no one at any level has hired him as an ex-D1 HC with a winning record should be a clue

All good points but I just appreciated the continuity factor, and how he was here during that amazing 2015 Peach Bowl year and when UH was ranked all the way at #6 the following season (thanks Navy and Hurricane Matthew).
It was a good way to keep the momentum that Lyin Tom brought.
He’s now the OC at the University of South Alabama for a reason.
I believe the big fish is literally is biiiig ( lbs) fish most likely for the DL. Probably a guy with experience a d a year or two left. Seems Dana and Staff really work to balance the roster gaps so that from year to year we aren’t exposed . Like the position we have found ourself in regarding the OL
