It’ll be ‘interesting’ to see the ripple effect as top programs stock up with portal transfers. Per this article, Saban is getting two terrific players from Ohio State and Tennessee to fill some of Bama’s needs.
Per ESPN: “The NCAA’s new transfer rules will require players in fall and winter sports to notify their current schools they intend to leave by May 1; spring sport athletes must do so by July 1, starting in 2022.”
I think the portal is going to birth the next cheating scandal…and will probably involve two B12 programs, as the SEC never speaks about “cosa nostra.”
