Just no luck in our race to get the team title this year. Kerr just missing, Lattin falling and jumping early, Mechler missing on the high jump and having to drop out, Barraza falling on the last lap…just wasn’t meant to be this year.
Still, 4x100 champs again (and a record to boot) and 100m champs and runner-up is nothing to sneeze at. Hopefully, we get a good result in the 4x400. Best this team has done in a long time and the future is bright.

Coogs are eliminated by the way. Georgia leads us by 11 points and we only have the 4x400 left. Florida eliminated as well. Only Georgia and Alabama can win and Alabama has to score at least 19 points in the 5K to have a shot.

Georgia takes the title. Congrats to them as they had an uphill battle and won it.
As long as Houston doesn’t finish last in the 4x400, they will finish at least 3rd. Will need to beat Florida by 6 points to finish 2nd overall.
Its still awesome to finish in the top 5.

Glad it wasn’t just a few points to put more emphasis on “the fall”. Loved the way he competed and glad the margin was large enough there will be no What Ifs.

Agree it’s been a fantastic year following Track, baseball and basketball. Almost forgot UH has a football program haha

Only school in the nation to have football go to a bowl game, men’s basketball and baseball make the tournament, along with a top 5 finish in the men’s track championship!
