Ten Swimmers Tabbed for CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

Peyton Kondis highlights the First Team for the Cougars after qualifying for her second consecutive NCAA Championships this past season. Kondis earned CoSIDA All-District Accolades at the conclusion of the 2018-19 season to go along with helping Houston win its third straight conference title. The junior is one of 38 student-athletes to maintain a 4.0 grade point average over the course of her career and one of 145 to do so during the most recent semester. First Team selections are awarded to those with a 3.50 or higher grade point average who competed at the NCAA Championships.

Nine Cougars earned Honorable Mention accolades, a bump from the four honorees the Cougars had during the 2017-18 season. Rebecca Brandt, Zarena Brown, Katie Deininger, Gaby Jimenez, Eleanna Koutsouveli, Laura Laderoute, Mykenzie Leehy, Monique Rae and Makayla Wallar were all named to the Honorable Mention Scholar All-America team. Athletes who earned a 3.50 or higher grade point average and an NCAA B-Cut, or competed at an NCAA Zone Diving qualifier earned the recognition.
