Tennis Announces 2017 Fall Schedule

Houston opens the fall slate inside the city limits when it heads to the George R. Brown Tennis Center to compete in the Rice Invitational. The 3-day event will be held Friday, Sept. 22, through Sunday, Sept. 24, on the campus of Rice University.

Following the Rice Invitational, sophomore Tsveta Dimitrova will compete in the pre-qualifying stages of the 2017 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Dimitrova is set to compete in the pre-qualifying round across Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, while the qualifying round will be held Oct. 3-4 and the main draw is slated to run Oct. 5-8.

From there, the Cougars head west to Waco, Texas, for the HEB Invitational from Oct. 6-8 before wrapping the month of October with a trip to the ITA Texas Regionals in Fort Worth, Texas, from Oct. 13-17.

The Cougars close out the fall season by returning to Houston to compete in the River Oaks Hidden from Nov. 3-5. The event hosted by the River Oaks Country Club will also include Texas, Rice and North Texas.
