Tennis Wraps Fall Season with Tulsa Invite

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Three other programs will compete at the Tulsa Invite, including Central Arkansas, Tulsa and Wichita State.
  • The Cougars will send eight to compete on the weekend, including newcomers Azul Pedemonti and Manasi Reddy.
  • Action will commence with doubles play on Friday at 1 p.m. against Wichita State, followed by singles at 2 p.m. against Tulsa.
  • Houston will kick things off with doubles on Saturday when it first takes on Tulsa at 10 a.m., followed by Central Arkansas at 11 a.m.
  • The Cougars will face Wichita State in singles play on Saturday at 1 p.m. to wrap action for the day.
  • Finishing off competition, Houston will take on Central Arkansas in singles on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

  • On the doubles court, pairs Kendall-Woseley/Tairyan, Kendall-Woseley/Belovukvic and Reddy/Tairyan finished with an overall record of 0-1 and pairs Chitdara/Gerits and Pedemonti/Ndunda came in at 0-2 on the weekend.
  • For singles play, Pedemonti went 2-1 on the weekend, Chitdara, Ndunda, Kendall-Woseley and Tairyan finished with an overall record of 1-2, Gerits came in at 0-1 and Belovukoic finished 0-3.
