I’ll have to check it out. I remember when they opened up there on Almeda a year or two ago; my son was attending MacGregor Elementary a couple blocks away.
I remember seeing the name, and seeing the crowds, and not being able to process the two. Turkey legs are kind of a staple at the Rodeo or Renaissance Festival, but I couldn’t understand how somebody could open a restaurant just selling turkey legs. And then the crowds of people that were always there, it made me wonder if they had a row of slot machines inside or something.
After watching the video, I can finally understand. Looks like you could feed a family with a single dish. But food looks so good that if anyone tried to eat off my plate, family or not, they’d get stabbed.
Is it as good as the cup-o-pizza place?
Drove by today (Saturday) a little after 12:30 and there was a line out the door almost to the sidewalk. Nice to see a UH couple doing so well. We’re going to try again on a day that might not be so crowded.
I heard about that place. Almost impossible to go there and not stand in line! Great testimony if you ask me.
Best day to go is when it’s pouring down rain
I love Turducken. I will have to try this out. It’s bound to rain soon.
You know you have some good eatin’ and plenty to eat when the food comes in a tray!
I was driving down Almeda the other day and saw this place, not realizing what it was until now. It was packed. I thought some sort of event or party was going on. Looks awesome.
We’ve been trying to find a time when they are not so busy to try it. Apparently a ‘not busy’ time doesn’t exist.
Really nice to see more UH folk being successful in the city.
Awesome video. Thank you for posting. I gotta eat now.
