Last year, Houston was 3rd in the AAC behind UCONN and USF, and 73rd overall. This year, Houston is 2nd behind Tulsa.
Basically, baseball made up for the drops from football and the two golf programs (although those programs still brought in points). Track and field also continues to be a big point-getter. No other program added points as they didn’t finish high enough nationally.
