UH Community Can Help Beautify Memorial Park in Time for Super Bowl
Houston, Jan. 11, 2017 —Members of the University of Houston Office of Sustainability will volunteer in a tree-planting event from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 28, in Memorial Park. The UH community is invited to participate.
The event, hosted by Memorial Park Conservancy, Trees For Houston and the Super Bowl Host Committee, is one of several projects occurring throughout Houston to help beautify the city in time for Super Bowl LI, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 5, at NRG Stadium. Participants hope to plant more than 1,000 trees in Memorial Park.
