UH considers Third Ward ‘incubation’ facility
Documents submitted for the system’s Board of Regents meeting Thursday show that this center would be imagined as a place for “community events and for joint projects between faculty and students and neighborhood groups” with “highly visible open green space and planting.”
These planning documents proposed the facility for the west side of Cullen between Highway 45 and Elgin. But board members tabled discussing the potential site and program at a facilities and planning committee meeting because the location must be further considered, a spokesman said.
