“I thought our first team did an outstanding job,” Applewhite said. “There were some lapses as we put in some backups. Giving up a double- move on third-and-15 is foolishness. We’ve got to look at those things and learn from them. There were also some great plays, but we have to be critical on ourselves as backups — where our production level, where our preparation is, and where those mistakes and successes are coming from. We have to be critical and evaluate.”
