My guess it got really political really fast. With certain members of the board leading the charge as some are very prone to being… Let’s call it aggressive, when anything cost to politics comes up.

I would be good with no political comments being allowed on a football board. What is the official rule? One-liners are ok but not threads?
Technically no politics period. I think some of the more innocent/bland/humorous/unaggressive comments don’t get taken down cause its not worth the hassle.
It was in the football section first, and it got political real quick. After 18 years of doing this I have a good sense when threads go south.
It’s usually just not worth the risk… heck I’ll even take down the sharpie comment if it bugs folks.
But they don’t speak English!
So it is okay for the admins to do it?
