Hopefully we can find a decent P5 to replace UConn in 2020. Even if BYU did join the AAC, they are already on our schedule for 2020.
Thats assuming they don’t make a deal with UConn to keep the date. Especially if Uconn fb has to go independent for a year.
UConn will probably want to get paid since they have to travel to Houston.

UConn was slated to be one of eight conference games. I think it’s a reasonably safe assumption that we will still have eight conference games. It’ll just be someone in the conference we weren’t already scheduled to play.
Unless a quirk of uneven divisions means we have one fewer conference games, there is only an issue if someone on our OOC becomes a part of our conference schedule (BYU, Rice, or North Texas) that we will have a whole to fill.
