Too bad the Comical won’t report it.
UH actually ranked fifth among US universities without a medical school.
I wonder where we’ll be once our med school gets up and running. Seems like there is a lot of potential for biotechnology patents.

On embii we get that med school up and running, sky’s the limit for UH.
We’re a much larger school than Rice is. Shouldn’t that be expected?
Not necessarily. Rice finished ahead of many other schools that are much larger than it is, including aTm. But NOT UH.
It’s not really about size. It’s about innovation.
aTm may be larger than UH and far larger than Rice, but that didn’t necessarily translate into more patents. UH simply has more innovation going on than either Rice or aTm.
