She designed her product concept, “Munch: A Kid’s Educational Cooking Set,” as a senior at the University of Houston University. Her prize includes $1,750 and an all-expense-paid trip to the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago, March 2-5, where she will make contacts that may lead to a job when she graduates or a licensing contract for her design.
