UH women’s basketball player reaches historic milestone

# UH women’s basketball player reaches historic milestone

For almost four years, forward Serithia “Momo” Hawkins played at her highest possible level. Now, in her senior season, she has accomplished a feat that few UH players have done before her.

Hawkins is the third woman and ninth player in UH basketball history to pick up at least 1,000 points and 900 rebounds in their career.

Congrats on the accomplishment. It’s a testament of your strength in not acquiring a major injury during your playing days, contributing at the get go of your Freshmen year, then finishing strong your Senior year to be able to reach the Rarefied air of being the 3rd woman and 9th overall player in UH basketball history to reach these numbers. We have had some great players to play for this University so you should be extremely proud of this accomplishment.
