Just for clarification, the 2 seed plays the 15 and then the winner of the 7 and 10. The 3 seed plays the 14 and then the winner of the 6 and the 11. So unless you are worried about us losing to a 6 seed as opposed to a 7 seed, there is relatively no difference between the two seeds.
The only time it’s bad to be a 3 seed is if you end up in the same bracket as a 2 seed you think should be a 1 seed. Obviously Kentucky is not that team.
