Too many strike outs looking. I remember starting little league in the 2nd grade and the first batting rule I learned facing 2 outs…if its in the zone, swing. You never strike out looking. Better to strike out trying to hit the ball than watching it pass you by and letting the team down…at least you tried. There is dignity in that.

T9…USF leads 7-4

Tough to say why they’re are so many looking. Sounds like the USF pitcher has a deceptive delivery and it sounds like they’re having some issues with the strike zone.

Tough to win on the road in this conference and USF is a good team.

Ball Game, Coogs lose 7-4

Rubber game at noon tomorrow.

Well they had this game well in hand. Sometimes, there is a “lot of quit in this team,” as a certain comedian would say: Too many defensive mental mistakes and men left on base in consecutive innings. Maybe tomorrow they will come to play the whole game. Go Coogs!
