Coogs try to get back on track this weekend in what looks to be a tough tournament. A&M-CC and Rice were both top 100 in the RPI last year while Yale was around #160.
Not really sure what happened here. Both teams were there and starters were announced before they called off the game. Rice and Yale played their scheduled match though. Strange situation.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, both Houston and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi mutually agreed not to play Friday’s scheduled volleyball match.
The NCAA has ruled the match be called a no contest.
The Cougars will conclude their participation in the Rice Adidas Invite II with two matches on Saturday. Houston will face Yale at 10 a.m., before concluding with host Rice at 7:30 p.m.
UP NEXT After playing four tournaments in the Houston area, the Cougars will open American Athletic Conference play with road matches at UConn (Sept. 23) and Temple (Sept. 25).
