Some rumors out there, but the reasoning hasn’t been made public.
I believe it’s the right decision given the staff’s losing record over the last 7 years. Time to return W. Volleyball to its winning ways.
Strange timing considering they just started their spring schedule last weekend and Coach Platt seemed pumped to play in the new Fertitta Center. However, we’re past signing day and this is probably the best time to do it.
As much as I liked Coach Platt, the results weren’t there and haven’t been for awhile. Change needed to be made.
University of Houston Vice President for Athletics Chris Pezman announced Wednesday Houston Volleyball head coach Kaddie Platt has been provided a notice of her release today. A national search for Houston’s seventh head coach has commenced.
“After a full and comprehensive evaluation of the Houston volleyball program, we have decided to make a change in the leadership of our program,” said Pezman. “We’d like to thank Kaddie for her oversight of the program over the last seven seasons. We have begun an immediate search for the next leader of the Houston Volleyball program and will not comment further until the search is concluded.”
Any news on possible new staff?
