Tyler is a LHP out of Cypress Ranch that comes highly decorated in both athletics and academics. He was a 2015 6A All-State First Team outfielder as voted on by the THSBCA as well as an All-Academic Honorable Mention. He was also a 2014 6A All-State Second Team outfielder as well as a 17-6A All-Academic 1st Team. Perfect Game rated him as the 29th best pitcher and 286th best player in Texas, named him to the 2015 Underclass Honorable Mention team and 2016 All-Texas Honorable Mention.
