Question who is dumb enough to think firing him, paying off the remainder of his contract and promoting from within mid season would have had different results?

Exactly! A good coach knows how to prepare his team for injuries since it happens to all teams! No excuses! Coach No D simply sucks bad! His defense is so bad sometimes I think he did it on purpose to make us look bad! I mean when it is this bad he gotta go! The sooner the better!

Add to that, this was far from the most talented defense to hit the field since 2014 and an offense that goes 3 downs and out or 3 downs and score and then you have problems with no quick solution.
There is no message to send in firing Doritos at this point. The only thing that applewhite can do now is tell Briles to try and put up 100 points every game and hope itâs enough. At least the games will be entertaining.
