Will Tom Herman be Successful at Texas?

I think Texas has a good shot at a NC with Herman at the helm. He’ll get the most out of the best players in the state.

Obviously time will tell, whether uta gives him a chance or not. But, things that worked at the UH may not work at uta. He’s extremely thinned skinned, so if local media criticizes him or he is told to not do certain “love” and “dude” things, it may hamper his mantra. He’ll have far less independence at uta than he did at the UH.

Strong won two conference championships and a BCS bowl game as Louisville’s coach. I don’t think you can say absolutely Herman is a better coach.

Absolutely right. Jury is still out on Herman to a degree. Not enough body of work to tell. Charlie’s resume was actually better. Herman has a lot of potential, but a lot of growing up to do, though I think he has the hubris not to realize that.

Herman does kiss a++ better and puts a better fake front than Charlie Strong. Hopefully, the HS recruits and parents are smart enough to see through his BS.
