i usually sit in section M anyway. Nobody sits on the first row. I have sat there every single game this season I have gone to.

That would be a terrible idea for this season. To say a CP donor through football season tickets would get parking preference going to one basketball game over people that go to 20 games this season but haven’t donated would be a major turn off. Next year will be a different story because there will be enough basketball donors to pack the garage.

Season ticket holders just got an email offering prepaid parking passes for Saturday’s game. $8

lol. that was funny

I bought one. Costs $9 instead of the $5 at the garage, but figured it was worth it for this game.

I am all in on the shuttle. although listening to the post-game helps to pass the time waiting to exit the garage.

Wish I could be there in person! Looks like I’ll be watching the game at 7:00am from here in Hawaii!

I still walk from TEDCU parking to H&PE for each game. Good excercise and never a problem. Only 2 blocks of walk not on campus.

“It makes a big difference,” Sampson said of playing at home. “I know when we played them there I thought that their crowd really fueled them; and, I think our crowd can fuel us.”

Houston is a team whose future is not as cemented as Wichita State’s. They do feature a solid 14-4 mark on the season with two of those losses coming in conference play. The Cougars have faced off against the Shockers before, losing that game by 18. While the scoreboard seemed lopsided, much of this had to do with Wichita State’s hot shooting. They shot 45 percent from both the field and three-point range. Compare that to Houston’s 27 percent clip from three in that game. 15 total turnovers did not help the Cougars either.

At this point, Houston needs every win they can get given the fact that they have two bad losses. Dropping games to Drexel and Tulane have hurt the tournament chances for the Cougars. However, a win over the Shockers puts them right back in the conversation.

Their most recent loss to Tulane saw similar results as their game against Wichita State. The Green Wave shot 46 percent from the field and 48 percent from three. Yet again, Houston shot poorly, which led to their downfall. Shooting only 27 percent from deep and 35 percent overall. This leads me to believe that a lack of efficiency from Houston will determine the outcome of their games.
