Curious as to the effect of the College Football Invitational. I donât know that it is as big as some make it out to be on attendance. I would think if your only reason for watching football is to have national champion bragging rights, that would be easier done in front of a couch or sports bar.
Most people I know go for the experience of rooting for their team, preferably in a good game vs a good opponent thus excitement for that game. Also many go for the people they know and hangout with either at the game or the tailgate.
That said the CFI needs to change. At least 8 teams, highest ranked conference champions (regardless of which conference, no power conference autobids) within top 15.
