What are our thoughts on Baylor?

After watching them last night, I am 100% convinced we can beat Baylor. I think our defense can frustrate them and force them to make mistakes. #bluecollarcoogs #beatthebears #forthecity

I think we can beat Baylor as well but we have to play two halves. Playing against the Coogs defense is like going into battle. You can have all the basic training that you want but you never know how someone is going to react when the bullets start flying.
Deekyās block on Thompson in the second half that was close to the rim, was savant level defense. Thompson had never seen anything like it. Boeheim had never seen anything like it. I suspect Baylore will have never seen anything like it.
But eventually our opponents as a team settle down somewhat (individually some never adjust). We have to play two halves. I worry about Grimes and foul trouble. He is a very good defender but once he gets a few fouls he is a very average defender.

To me it looked liked Baylor ālost their legsā a little in in the second half and then missed shots.

Having a week to prepare for Baylor will help. They did look strong offensively but how will they look against our D should be different.

It doesnāt matter whom you played, what their seeding was or anything else. Weāre in the Final Four and 65 other teams that made the tournament are not. Iāll never apologize. Weāre there and we beat the schools with different colored uniforms. We had no control over how those schools got there. They earned the right to play us by beating some other school who was seeded higher than they were. Maybe the NCAA did a really poor job of seeding.
Virginia is still the defending champion. Do you remember the seeds of the schools they beat? If we win Saturday and Monday, all that matters is we won the last game. Period!! Nothing else matters.

It is going to be a nail biter. What hasnāt been brought up but over the last 14 games the Coogs have had their hands full in close games and won them all.
How has Baylor done in close games? How has Baylor done against top 10 defenses?
