We see these, “Blessed to receive offer” posts; but have we been blessed to receive a signature or commitment from any of these 2017 guys? I’m not sure of the protocol this far out from national signing day.

Good point. My guess is that the reason a lot of these guy are unsigned at this point are either injuries, past grade issues, or attitude issues. If so, they may be waiting to see what offers start coming in and dont feel they need to commit immediately.
Montibon was just offered by Cal a few days prior to the UH offer so it looks like something cleared with his situation.
Some of the stuff our fans tweet to these guys cracks me up. What is the point of telling an offensive lineman that a linebacker on the Super Bowl champ went to UH?

Sadly, I believe I know exactly which fan you’re talking about. I cringe every time I see one of those tweets. Although, it seems like all these high school kids want is attention, so they probably don’t care what form it comes in.
Agreed. I imagine most of the players think it’s humorous or just don’t care. I don’t think it affects the recruiting one way or the other.

Aside from clearing almost all of the red chairs out, doesn’t look like much progress has been made on replacing the benches in Sections 127 and 131 with permanent chairbacks.
