Someone mentioned if he got an offer from Duke he was going there. Dont get attached but I hope he sees what he could have with us.
Yes his dad always wanted him to go to Duke or Kentucky, but especially Duke…his dad passed away earlier in the year.
Young Griggs is a great floor leader and can take it to the hole with the best of them…his outside game has a way to go before he gets considered by Duke, not to mention the NBA if that becomes the rule.
I also heard Bryce has dropped out of the top 25 after at one time being the best in his class…regardless, I would take the kid with no questions asked.
I also hear there are rumors that he may be transferring from Hightower after this year. He has been at Freeport, Shadow Creek and now Hightower…
Rivals released there 2022 Top 50
- 6 TX kids
- Griggs at 43
I’ve heard that number #1 player in 2022 is AS GOOD as it gets as far as a basketball prospect goes [Emoni Bates].
He is supposed to be generational. Lot of coaches aren’t recruiting him thinking he will be going pro when they change the rule.
Facts. He still wants to be recruited, though . Funny how the 2022 class suppose to be the first class that can go straight to the NBA and it looks filthy loaded on top. 2021 is another case, that will be an extremely weak class due to the top players re-classifying to the 2020 class.

Ty Rodgers from Saginaw Michigan
Who was the past player from Saginaw…maybe during the Clyde McBrooks era?
The Gaines kid
Maybe but he was here such a short time I am thinking it was someone prior to him because I heard “from Saginaw, Michigan” a lot in the intro. Oh well, nice pull though. Thanks!
Probably Jesse Drain.
Bob Seger
Lefty Frizzell
Tony Smith
This kid is a stud!!! He’s maybe the only guy who has ever gotten the upper hand on Emoni Bates, his team also beat them.
Yea it’s going to be a fight to get him because I’m sure the blue bloods including Michigan St will be after him.
