It’s interesting to note that the 9 uncommitted HS QB recruits that we’ve offered for next year are all from out-of-state as follows: AL (1), CA (3), GA (2) MS (1) and TN (2).

Why is it so hard to sign (and keep) a HS QB who wants to develop and be the next man up behind Tune?
Losing 2 freshman qbs with seniors ahead of them is not normal. SOMETHING is going on behind the scenes.

Nobody wants to wait for anything anymore. The difficulty in transferring and finding a place with a clear path to playing used to be a deterrent, but not now.

I think Holgy IS counting on the portal unless he has a higher confidence in his youth or has a target he has somebody he has talked to who will enter the portal. Otherwise … gonna be a little lame at QB for a coupla years. Just my uneducated guess.
If thats the case, a game manager would be fine too
Maybe DJ Lagway in 24’…… that would be pretty ok

DJ Lagway is the one who would set UH & CDH into solid position for BIG12. He’s 2024 signee so it would require for CDH to get someone in to be starting QB for 23 & 24 Season so Lagway could RS his 1st season. Going to be heavily sought after though .

Are you sure he is any good? He only has about 2 dozen offers and mostly only from teams like Alabama, Georgia, BU, aTm, Michigan State, and other such lightweights.
