2023 Transfer Portal

I’m with @Joprior23. I’d love to see Kevin Cross playing for Sampson. He can score, he can rebound, he can shoot the 3 and he has a very high motor. I think he’d be a great experienced replacement for Jarace while Tuggler learns the college game.

I don’t think Cross is the answer. Like ‘81 said we need a power forward to replace Jarace.
We have 3 really good bigs coming in so let’s see how they develop.
The fact that Francis has seen limited minutes since conference play started, including 0 yesterday is giving me the vibes he isn’t near ready.
Like it or not he could be a candidate to portal out

“Monday signals the opening of college basketball’s transfer portal –– otherwise known as the sport’s Pandora’s box.”

“B.J. Mack, F Wofford: Mack is an absolute beast.”

USF could have had a big man rotation of Mack, Alexis Yetna (Seton Hall) & Tchewa.

Soon a late 1st rounder can make a bigger lick coming back than in their 1st NBA year.

Biggest name in the portal so far JJ Starling

Maryland gonna be a favorite I think

U sure

Probably means Judah Mintz leaving.

@Joprior23 is this Mr Cross the savior ?!

Thats the other favorite, Cuse. I picked Maryland bc of the coaching situation

Amaree Abraham is a Houston kid who is a combo guard and can fill it up!!!

He just recently enter the transfer portal!

Btw… I think Ramon leaves which will open another ship (2 total). I think this is fair game since some posters in here are projecting players who arent in the TP to come here.

@MRCoog he plays point guard…we already have 2 for next year.

Shead and Mylik Wilson

I say Mylik is a point guard cause hes 6ft 2 and cant shoot the 3pt great. So has to run point

He could slide as a 2 since he only averaged 2 assists this past season.

He also has grown to 6-4 w/socks & didn’t register an assist on his last game vs. Tenn. :writing_hand:

I gotcha.

He was listed as PG on 247

Tramon Mark was also listed as a pg out of HS. And we know damn well he wasn’t one, he was a scoring machine w/could pass!

@Coog1992 after watching yesterday’s game having a second ball handler in the starting lineup may not be such a bad idea, eh ???

Coach Kelvin Sampson: too many turnovers

Oh i agree. But honestly Sharp has to become another ball handler. Hes 6ft 3"

If you’re filling Ramon Walkers spot, whos about 6ft 5". If you add a guard from the portal, i think he needs to have about that size, 6ft 5"

He’s more of a 3 and d guy who plays off the pg. He doesn’t have quite the first step and athleticism to create his own shot consistently to get open looks or create for others.

We’re okay in the wing spot w/Mark & TA returning! Sharp is a legit 6’4 as well.

Which Tulsa players? They definitely need to retool
