Notre Dame will have their hands full. If I had to guess I think they lose by 10-14 but you never know. I think it would be cool to see Notre Dame win a natty over Ohio State personally
Line is -9.5 to tOSU
So if Day wins the NC, does that make up for losing to Michigan? Or still a black stain upon the legacy?
It will be foolish to underestimate Notre Dame. They were supposed to lose every game and they won. They were supposed to lose to Indiana, then Georgia and then Penn State. This team can beat Ohio State.
The Cotton Bowl attendance was 20,000 below capacity.
UT, playing in Dallas, did not sellout Jerry World.
Even including the weather issues I find that virtually incomprehensible.
Thatâs telling
When UT played Clemson in Austin the attendance was 101,150.
The announcers said 30% of the Cotton Bowl crowd was Ohio St.
Doing the math we have UT attendance of 50,000.
1/2 the attendance they enjoy in Austin.
Tickets went on sale well before the Winter storm conditions were known.
UT fans did not buy Cotton Bowl tickets at a level beyond what they buy for the actual Cotton Bowl Stadium vs OU.
This is very odd.
The only stain is his beard and hair with Grecian Formula and Just For Men.
Not to be that guy but ND was actually favored against Indiana and Georgia. They were a 1.5 point dog to Penn State but Iâm betting terms thatâs basically a toss up.
Best WHO song ever
Thatâs where I would put it. During the end of my College education --1983, one of my roommates fav Group was the
" Who " . Wheww did we listen to the WHO over n over when I returned from classes. . We finally set aside days ea was in charge of genre on our Stereo setup.

Losing to Michigan is unforgivable. Day will have to beat Michigan soon even if he wins the National Championship. Itâs sorta like UT v ATM and UT v OU.
Many experts predicted Notre Dame will lose. I am talking about the general perception. There was no way anyone thought Georgia will lose to ND. Btw, Georgia beat Texas twice, twice. Ohio State barely beat Texas. Something to ponder.
Hey Iâm not saying they canât beat Ohio St, Iâm just pointing out that ND winning its last three games wasnât that shocking. In fact I donât remember seeing anyone that really thought Indiana would go into their house and win that game. ND was #2 in MC before the playoffs started. Theyâre a very good team.
Baba orielly aka.Teenage waste land, Donât get fooled again,Who are you, Behind blue eyes, etc.
The weather played a big role and it was a weeknight game.
I understand not wanting to go head to head with the NFL playoffs but mid week playoff games are dumb. They might have to look at starting earlier and having the playoff wrapped up before the NFL playoffs start to improve ratings and attendance. I think the weather was a huge factor in the attendance they were saying in the Dallas media when I was up there last weekend that when the forecast was announced prices took a nose dive and if you are able to get there you could get a pretty good deal on tickets for a semifinal game. Texas fans might have been waiting last minute because you can usually find deals on tickets for any event if you wait it out and with the conditions they probably said it wasnât worth the risk in going/
No conflict of interest there. Jim Nantz might be, but heâs a proâs pro and has proven it is not a problem.
I donât think itâs a problem with Herbstriet either. I donât think he was overly biased towards OSU. He heaped both praise and criticism to both teams fairly.
By the by this is Ryan Dayâs 4th. Squad to make The Final Four.
He has no National Titles so far.
Marcus Freeman has really elevated The Irish. He is solid.
We just saw The âHorns almost tie the game late in 4th quarter. Then blow up. This is not the greatest Longhorn team ever. Several Mack Brown teams were better, especially 2005.
I think Notre Dame wins this. Better QB and better OL. And really good defensively.
