I like this dude’s attitude

I love that this staff can tell kids “we like you, but don’t love you yet” and that makes them want to work even harder to come here. That’s amazing!

Other schools hoping UH doesn’t offer or it’s a :lock: :writing_hand:

Not many can get away with that. The kid will dsay screw you lol. The fact that CKS has the luxury, it is a testament to his reputation, success. I can almost bet his son is not in the same position. It takes years of success to build that brand.

Rivals says Dink Pate is set to announce his finalists later this month. Sounds like from some on this board that we are out of that race, but Id love to see us at least in that finalist list

For years Duke was always said to reload not rebuild. They also didn’t recruit, they selected. It sounds like this is the direction we are moving.

This is how you move into the blue blood neighborhood.

CKS won’t be classic blue blood.
He looks for fit and culture.
Number of stars would just be a bonus.

That’s the selection piece. A lot of players might want to come to Houston. But only those that fit the culture will be offered. The blue bloods don’t have to go out recruiting. Just because we’re on someone’s final number of schools, doesn’t mean we’re interested.

Mercy Miller’s team just eliminated Bronny James one.

Btw, Mercy going HAM next season w/Stromer & Foster graduating. Low-key 5 :star: in my book.

Caleb Foster is stupid good, my god

I agree, he looks amazing. Caleb Foster is committed to Duke. He is their lowest rated recruit in 2023
how crazy is that?

Why are so many of them wearing Kobe Grinch’s? Aren’t they like being resold for $500? What high schooler is dropping $500 for a pair of shoes?

You sweet summer child thinking that elite players that play in leagues/on teams sponsored by Nike and/or play with the first born son of the biggest athlete at Nike are “paying” for their own shoes

Any intel on when Dedan Thomas makes a decision? He had his last OV to Florida 3/4/23. Maybe he is waiting for the NCAA Tournament to finish.

Imagine him and Mercy in the backcourt :fire::fire::fire:

You’re correct it would be awesome to see. Would remind me of some of the great backcourt tandems Baylor has had both recently and currently.

Is Dedan a two-way player? How is his defense?
