Actually, a really good Houston squad could balloon the numbers

We have the fan base, it’s just that they only come out when we are on the highest stage.

If the Big 12 was wise, they’d prop up
Houston
UCF
Cincinnati
BYU
Colorado
Arizona
Kansas
Arizona

Those schools have the highest viewership ceilings and there is PLENTY of room to grow.
