He will have them ready by March, but do not be surprised if we lose some games people are expecting us to win between now and then. The Freshmen are all on a learning curve and play a big part in this season’s success. So there will be ups and downs but he will have them ready by March. The fun part will be watching the Board melt down during some of the downs.

We will lose some games.
Last season we finished November 4-3. In April we played in The National Title Game.

Great article. I don’t remember any local people (baldwin or Duarte) writing an article about Sharp’s thoughts on the final play of the championship game.
Also, if you remember, Clayton Jr. blocked a Sharp 3-point shot early in the second half. That had to be on his mind in the final seconds.

I couldn’t resist looking up which team has been to the Final Four the most times without a championship. UH is the Champion of Futility. Seven Final Fours and three championship games. Please Coach Sampson, end this misery for us, win an NCAA championship.

Emanuel was rightly not interested in talking about it until the last couple of months. And to be honest, I think he’d be more open to discuss this with someone he doesn’t see everyday.
The writer, CJ Moore, gets a long lead time to write these articles and talk to half a dozen people. He’s also an incredible storyteller.
In this instance, it’s good for everyone that CJ did this.

Only 2 of those Final Fours was under the modern format.
Most of our appearances was when there was no 3 point line or shot clock.
Eh we win way more than we lose. We’re lucky as hell to be on the run we’re on. Not many programs have and that’s includes dozens with better resources.

Thinking the utes (East Texas for Youths) will cost us a game or two, maybe more. It will take a while before they become a cohesive organization, and we have a few really good, competitive teams to face shortly.
