Yes, how is Walker taking Mercy’s minutes if they play different positions?
I think that was by design for Jojo this season regardless…
They got it right… dude is a BALLER!
Can we retire Jerseys and stop retiring numbers
Let’s the kid wear whatever number they want
So nobody else named Shead could play in a UH jersey ever again…?
No wonder Olajuwon picked Stanford.
If we don’t have a returning PG, I bet we’ll have a lot of interest in the 2026-2027 transfer portal. This past season was different where Milos was penciled in as a starter and anyone coming in would be his backup. Not to mention would compete with Kingston.
There’s only so many elite guards that want to transfer into that situation.
My personal opinion is Harwell will remain half injured this season but will be fully healthy next season.
If you want to get the best out of him this season and don’t mind him possibly getting drafted this season, then the best thing to do would be to shut him down for a month.
Then we can get a decent version of him in time for conference play.

Half injured hmm

In a perfect world, Harwell would be redshirted, just like Bryce and McCarty was.
All three of them have long high school injury histories. But we didn’t do it for Harwell because he’s a five star with potential for immediate contribution.
He would benefit from a little time off.
Also, because he’s a 1st round draft potential… you don’t redshirt them UNLESS it’s an injury.
That doesnt make sense to put a top 15 player on the bench half the season…
Why even come here, Isiah will play and hes going to be impactful, just needs more playing time.
So far, every time he touches the ball he injures himself.
He can’t stay on the court for any meaningful time.
He even injures himself constantly during practice.
A couple of weeks ago, Coach said he had to force Harwell to stop practice to save him from himself because he tries too hard and injures himself constantly.
This is why I said he needs a month off. That’s NOT “half a season”.
It’s 1/4 of a season and if you include the tournament, it’s 1/5 of a season - and the least important part of it. It will make the most important part of the season more successful.
We are going to see “Small Ball” this season.
McCarty plays the Four.
JoJo and Cenac trade court time.
Has there been an update on McCarty after his hard fall Wednesday?
This is yesterday’s news but this clown “tweets” this and still hasn’t deleted, corrected or even acknowledged that he doesn’t know ball lol
Meanwhile, UH by itself during the same time frame has 3 No. 1 Seeds, 1 No. 2 seed, 17 NCAA tourney wins, 5 Sweet Sixteens, and 2 Final Fours. That is quite the swing and miss by Mr. Lunardi.
Since COVID, UH has 16 tournament wins:
Four in 2021
Three in 2022
Two in 2023
Two in 2024
Five in 2025
