Tulane has ZERO business being in front of a second BIG 12 school.
A team that lost to UTSA by 22 points should be in the New Mexico Bowl.

I actually did it to Applewhite at Tulane in 2017.
He turned around and laughed at our group but still thanked us for traveling to New Orleans.
The sideline at Yulman are so close to the stands and you can hear conversations between the players and coaches that day.
Oh, come on, these multi-million dollar paid coaches aren’t going to “knock out” anyone that yells at them. Get real. Fritz wouldn’t stoop that low.

No, you misunderstood……not yelling at a coach from the stands….man to man in his face….though Applewhite falls into the 10% that would let you get away with it.
I’m talking about coaches in general, and you would be surprised how many would “get you outta their face” if this was done in private….obviously not with TV cameras.
And I don’t know where you are from Norb but if someone is yelling in my face it is NOT “ stooping that low” to get them out of my face.

With large conferences causing unbalanced conference schedules, SoS is not simply a matter of a team’s conference membership. UH played a light schedule by Big 12 standards. But the voters should be looking at SEC schools in the same way.

Well he was about 3 feet away since I was in the front row of the stands but it was all good at the end.
I yelled at him for punting on 4th and inches when we had King and Mulbah Car running over Tulane all day.

See this is is BS (i’m not accusing you @coog1837 specifically of anything).
Pundits say UH had an easy schedule, but here we are Week 13 and Cincy is not even in the CFP rankings. Arizona State is ranked, and Arizona is considered to be a upper-middle team.
If Utah gets another loss, then they will be at 3 losses and thus kicked out of the CFP rankings or more into 20-25.
How long are people going to say UH had an easy schedule? This sentiment only lasted because BYU, Tech and Cincy all played eachother.

BYU also has a win over 7 win ECU. It’s G5, sure, but they are still tied for first in the AAC

It would be. Alamo Bowl and PopTarts bowls are legit. They ruined the Alamo Bowl last yr pitting two current Big 12 teams together, but a USC would be fantastic!
(No need to rehash the specifics as to why they did that… I’m JS)
The only real downside is the inevitable opt-outs you’re gonna get when missing the CFP😧
