None of us know what Harwell went through last year. What we do know is that he hustled on defense but his offensive game was horrid and he lost all confidence over the year.
I am thinking that a change of scenery was best for him and I am hoping he finds his shot again because if he does he could be All-America…

I don’t care at all honestly… but my opinion is that he was way overrated coming out of hogh school.
Good luck to the kid… worst case scenario is he’s already earned some pretty decent cash in college.
Not sire if you listened to the interview but Kellen said Sasser almost left the program his first year there but he toughened up & stuck it out… and in doing so worked his way into the NBA.

I agree he should have sucked it up and stayed, but he took the easy way out and probably will receive more money at Gonzaga. I think he would have had to accept a pay cut here…

I don’t fell a need to play Duke. Schedule is fine in terms of strength. Now if they were coming to the Fertitta Center I would be happy to add them.

I thought about playing UH playing Duke at MSG. I quickly got over that. UH beat Duke 2 years ago, and UH has never beaten Alabama, with Sampson as Head Coach, dating back to 2021. No time like the present.
UH’s last win against Alabama was December 29, 1979, 85-73, with Guy V. Lewis as Head Coach. It was in El Paso, TX, in the Sun Carnival Tournament.
I would like UH to start a win streak of it’s own against Alabama.

Thomas’ Miller, McCarty, Haddnot will be in the rotation in the backcourt with a 5th spot being Alozi or Jackson and Jefferson trying to play his way in.
The front court is likely set with Jojo, Gillespi, East and Diane

I believe Bryce will be Chase’s backup at the 3. Staff are really high on him.

Nothing is set in stone but it appears Thomas, Miller, McCarty and Tugler are about as close to locks as you can get with Kelvin. The 5th starter will either be Gillespie or Diane. We’re going to have the 3 headed monster again at the big spots. My guess is East will get some PT in the non-con but then will taper off as the rotation gets pared down to 8-9.
