2026 Houston Football Parking Pricing Reductions

What’s New at TDECU: Parking Pricing Reductions

Houston reduces gameday parking prices for three primary lots ahead of 2026 season, encourages pre-paid options which are also reduced in majority of lots

HOUSTON – In preparation for Houston Football’s H-Town Kickoff season opener against Oregon State on Sept. 5, Houston Athletics announced pricing updates for game day parking.

For 2026, the three primary lots (Blue, Orange, and Green) all feature $10 discounts for those who purchase before game day.

Students who have a parking pass for campus will continue to get to park for free on game days and can do so in the Green Lot (Zone E) by showing the parking attendant their Cougar Card on the UH Go app. Students that do not have a parking pass for the fall semester can park in Zone D (corner of Wheeler and Calhoun/MLK) on a first come, first serve basis by also showing their Cougar Card QR code on the UH Go app.

These updates feature reduced prices across the board and reward Cougar fans who pre-purchase. New for the 2026 season, Blue, Orange, and Green Lots will also be available for game day purchase subject to availability.

Additionally, the Purple Garage and single-game RV Parking (located at the south end of Green Lot) feature pre-paid discounts. Teal Lots, located on the eastern edge of the University of Houston campus, will remain text-to-pay.

Houston Athletics encourages all fans to utilize pre-paid parking to ensure the lowest price and expedite arrival to campus on game day. Parking will revert to Game Day prices at midnight the night before game day.

Great ideas

How early/late are we allowed to be in the Purple garage?

Lots open four hours before kickoff so you’ll be good as early as 7AM.

Athletics returns game day lots ‘back’ to campus control at midnight, but we don’t have a firm “90 minutes after the conclusion” or anything like that.
