In most cases we are using a RS for this situation but given his age maybe not though not sure where the time comes from. Once we hit conference play there isn’t much developmental time for the bench and Lath will be in front of him. And McFarland or be returning around the same time.

There was another spot, but he’d have to come off the bench since Jojo was staying and Cenac was guaranteed the other starting big spot. We wanted him, but we wanted Cenac more.

Last night I thought he got lackadaisical at times on defense, but you can bet coach is going to help him a bunch in that area. I think he is the best freshman we have had under Sampson…

There was a ‘spot’ but there was not room. A good bit of this is what you can provide in NIL/rev share and Arizona had a lot more there. UH would have figured it out if he chose to come, but as early as last November I was told that they were perfectly fine going into battle with the 4 freshmen they had committed then.
