NOW lets fix our once great Baseball Program…ZERO excuses for where it’s at…this should have been fixed years ago…those that know, this is a gold mine of a job that should be Nationally relevant…not this floundering ship with no rudder
Unfortunately there are many like that for baseball
but I choose to continue to support The University of Houston Baseball through the ups and the downs.
Go Coogs!
The whole thing just seems tired. The program, the marketing, the facade on the stadium, the schedule.
This program needs a personality
It is an afterthought. They don’t get much attention from the marketing department.
HOPEFULLY, Coog Baseball will get the next facelift…it’s a damn shame it’s been allowed to wither like it has…ZERO, NADA, ZILCH excuses for this program to be bottom dwellers in Big 12 Baseball
There’s nothing to market……Todd Whitting has single-handily put the program on life support.
He’s bush league and coaches and parents around the state know it.
I’ve said before. I use to have season tickets and caught up to three games a week at home. Now I struggle to tune in on ESPN+. Too many players never pan out and we still can’t run the bases.
You have until next Friday to renew baseball season tickets per an email I received.
Better hurry! ![]()
I don’t dislike Todd but I do think UH has taken far too long to make a change. They sure didn’t waste anytime saying bye to Noble.
And another shocker was bringing in a new women’s hoops coach while the baseball program remains stranded in the wilderness
They could have hired a helluva a baseball coach for 600k that women’s basketball coach got.
Our basketball team is not going to get another win this year. You don’t need 3 or 4 years to build a program with NIL and transfers. There should be immediate results if not in year 1 in year 2.
Yeah, well I hear Ben and Erin from “Home Town” are gonna renovate our baseball facilities……
But they told Nunez, only after TW is gone.
One month left
The buzz and anticipation is off the charts. HORRIFIC what our program has been allowed to fester into. Even if were still G6, Baseball is the one program that we should be, at the bare minimum, solid and competitive. There’s only one constant in all this.
It’s funny( not really), we had some amazing teams that could compete with ANYONE in the country when we were C-USA and American….
Now we can’t beat those teams. ![]()
But yeah, give women’s basketball a 600k coach and let the baseball team languish in obscurity.
And Pollard takes a Polaroid of the huge ass elephant in the room. Boom!!
Ah, but 25 years ago.
I got an email at 10:00 a.m. $6 non-conference games and $8 conference game tickets.
UT tickets are $24 each.
Sounds like what Rice does to us in football.
