I heard that she only had 18 months to go for full retirement, and that Mike Pede has hired her to work in the alumni association to get her fully vested.
If thatâs true, then I will change my opinion of Mike Pede.
I wouldnât.
On second thought, it was probably Dr. Khatorâs idea!
If this is true, then this was a really sh@%y thing to do to someone who was a loyal UH employee. I totally get that a new coach may want to bring in their own people. What should have happened, if it didnât, was that the AD should have offered her a similiar position for another one of the teams, or another position in the athletic department or work with HR on another position at the university. This was on top of another poster saying that she was notified by email of termination. This is no way to treat a long time employee so close to full retirement and I hate that it happened at our university. The AD needs to do better. Disgraceful. Kudos to Pede or whoever made the decision to take her in.
Not a big fan of her either. I hate for anybody to get treated the way she was treated.
However, she has been known to treat some really good baseball supporters poorly also.
Traci Cauley was always very courteous and smiling any time we would see her at a baseball event or any UH event.
She has been with UH Baseball for a long time. Sad to see her go!
Her husband, Pat Cauley, former UH baseball player has been seen at many events supporting the Coogs over the years and is extremely nice as well.
Both will be missed and I hope we still see them at UH sporting events in the coming years!
Go Coogs!
Heâs the typical guy passing on until he gets his dream job on UHâs dime
Ya know.
I read that we had four players taken in the MLB draft, the most since 2019.
Yet we still blew chunks this year. How bad does our coaching have to be to get that little success out of that much âpro potentialâ talent?
Am I off base?
Law u think it really boils down to the previous staff being able to recruit or develop pitchers.
Like I have said more than once, our program steadily went down hill after the Romero debacle.

And, another one!
Does this mean Alvin is gone?
No clueâŠ
All I know is where I work being a director means you ainât getting any sleep M-Thur, you wonât see your family anymore and you better get on blood pressure meds preemptivelyâŠ
Somehow I doubt these directors are working as hardâŠ
She has always been great to the players. Donât know about the donors.
Only four players getting drafted from a Big 12 team means you werenât very good.
Unless youâre young and donât have a ton of draft eligiblesâŠ.then again, we werenât young ![]()
