2027 Recruiting

Watched the Marvin Joseph video.

I really hope he commits to the Coogs.

Great young man…

That is back when paying players was supposed to get you the death penalty like SMU.

I graduated from Central HS in 1965 when it was considered part of Baton Rouge, but now is it’s own city. There were 119 kids in my graduating class. My sister graduated in 1963 and had 63 kids in her class. But sites keep calling it Central HS in Baton Rouge. Central has a population of 29570.

Central, Louisiana is an incorporated city.

The community of Central, located in East Baton Rouge Parish, was historically an unincorporated suburb of Baton Rouge. On April 23, 2005, residents voted to incorporate as a city, despite opposition from the parish government Wikipedia. This incorporation allowed Central to establish its own separate school system, operate its own police and fire departments, and manage certain municipal services. The Louisiana State Legislature later authorized the creation of the Central Community School District after the city’s incorporation Wikipedia.

Central’s incorporation date is a key factor in confirming its status as an incorporated municipality. Today, it is recognized as the third-largest city in East Baton Rouge Parish and part of the Baton Rouge metropolitan area Wikipedia. centralgov

Like I said, Louisiana has lots of good football players and they can’t all go to LSU. Coach Fritz is well connected in Louisiana. Joseph is teammates with Marcus Watson, another 2026 UH commit.

I REALLY liked his interview….

THERE’s something about him, and I can’t quite put my finger on it.

I just like his attitude and the things he likes to talk about.

He seems to have his priorities in line…

Indeed, money, they always have and clearly HC’s have not matched the uta financial investments in these so called recruits.

In the 2025 season there were 8,266,244 high school football players. 1000 is the top .0001209%.

If you keep the % there, you have 2 too many “0s”….

This “% thing” throws a lot of people off. It’s a common mistake.

Rather than trying to explain it… if you have an I-phone, just say…

“Hey Siri, what percent is 1,000 out of 8,266,244”.

Siri will tell you it’s .01209%

————————————————

But it’s still a very valid point.

It’s being the best out of every 8,266 players you come across.

That being said. If’ve seen other figures that say there were just over 1,000,000 high school football players in 2025.

Rather than debating the total number of players…

…another way of looking at it is…

…in an average sized state, it’s one of the best 20 players in the state.

It also means Keisean is “better than” one in a Million…

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted but figured someone would correct it. And voila, there you are.

That image looks like someone photoshopped it on the shirt…

I hope I’m dead wrong.

Because it looks more orange than red, it kinda looks like the “hook ‘em horns” with an added middle finger…
