Im hoping the comittee really looks at how great we were on the road this season. Im not sure there is team out there that has done better and hopefully that can get us a two seed assuming we win the conference tourney.

Seems to me that it ESPN/Kenpom does have an effect though.

Nevada and Marquette were ranked higher by the committee than the NET and lower in the KenPom and Sagarin than the NET. So I think Houston being ranked lower than NET was more just a correlation with KenPom and Sagarin than a causation. I think the AP had some effect even though it wasn’t listed in the article I posted.

I think both Cincinnati games have come since that release and one of the things mentioned with Kansas being ahead of UH was good wins. UH should be a bit closer this time around.
