When I read the thread title, my first thought was that you might have to pay someone more than $7 to take a ticket and attend the UH vs West Virginia FB game.

Why even buy season tickets anymore u can pick them up in 300 level cheap every week except Texas of course and now 7 dollars for a ticket and now the t shirt promotion, don’t see the sense of paying these season ticket prices anymore

That’s exactly what I did these past two years. Just buy the cheapest resale ticket I could find and sit wherever.
I bought season tickets this year mostly because of Texas. Thankfully the resale prices for that game are staying high for now, so I might break even on what the cost would have been if I’d just bought resale.
I might just buy that shirt…

With Texas and OU gone next year ticket demand will be down all over the conference. We are losing the only blue bloods
Stubhub has tickets for $4 now. This is not what I envisioned for the first year in the Big 12.

For reference, TCU had a $25 flash sale for its WVU game. 95% full (or 43,736) and lack of visitors and band made some difference vs. SMU game which drew 51,243.
Anybody know if they mail the shirt or do you have to pick up at stadium?

The game is Thursday so probably won’t be a lot in the stands at kick-off.

20k probably, but will be empty at kickoff 6pm, all our normal excuses, traffic, work, soccer practice, etc another embarrassment on TV , only good news is most people will watch the ESPN broadcast so probably very few eyes will watch us anyway
Well folks dont sweat the attendance too much, if WVU never lost to teams that have poor attendance, pitt would never have beaten us in Pittsburgh.
I work 25 miles out 290 from
Stadium. Earliest I can leave work Thursday is 4:30. IF I gabr s as my issues keaving then I will likely just go home snd watch on TV. My wife already isn’t going. A few times for the 6 basketball games I arrived snd got in Fertitta about 6:10. No time for me to leave work snd pick snyone false up to go.
Maybe planned way ahead and asked for the day off?

As a person with a decent sales job, I will challenge myself to be 2.66x as productive as normal Tue and Wed so I can comfortably end up on campus by 5pm and to take at least the first half of Friday off.
