The world is starting to right itself now.
Beating Memphis tomorrow puts them as 4th seed in the conference tournament and avoids a semi final meet. Else they become 2nd seed and we meet them again for the finals. The win probably gets them in as the last in replacing Colorado state or Boise state.
Couple thgs here. The 1-3 seeds are setâWSU, Houston, Memphis. Only the order can change not the Teams. So therefore. Memphis can not be a #4 seed. If UH was to lose Sunday they would drop to #3 Seed w WSU win today.
Lastly #2 & #3 seeds(UH/Memphis) would play in AAC Semiâs next Sat as long as both win their initial gm Friday.
WSU Wins today they are Reg Season Champ and UH/Memphis are playing for the 2 seed tomorrow in the CT next week.
There are no probablies when it comes how the NCAA committee will choose.
Just discussing Conf Tourney seeds w my example.
More than 15 years of the same coach and he was there in the mid-70âs left for a couple of years and came back. The great run started when he came back and started recruiting internationally.
Nice to see a good Coach stay at a smaller School.
Coogs open as -10 favorites.
Still hoping that a week off isnât a negative for the Coogs. And hoping that they come out of the gate with fire like the last 3 games.
When we have gotten the extra rest and been able to solely focus on a big game during the Sampson era results have been very good.
10 game stretch starts tomorrow. 10 games to glory and guts. 10 games for nba 1st round selection for some folks.
I am so hyped for tomorrowâs game I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. Definitely hope we have a lot of people in their seats early to show Justin, Brison, and Deeky how much we appreciate them for all theyâve given to this University and what they have meant to this program. Each of these young men have earned their moment to hear our cheers and see hopefully more than a handful of fans. Covid has reduced our capacity but it shouldnât reduce the love these guys feel from us.
You know youâve arrived when your game thread has 134 posts and itâs not even game day yet.
Itâs game day!
Something happen to memphis over night? Line started at -10, then crept to -9.5, then -9, then about an hour ago went to -10.5 Houston.
Maybe Mattress Mack put down a million and moved the line haha.
Lomax is not playing. Was announced this morning per Rothstein.
Edit: although he hasnât played the last 2 gms so not really a surprise. But Iâm sure thatâs what caused line to move towards Houston.
