Even MORE reason why the Big 12 CANNOT take a flyer on another mediocre football program.
Football drives the bus here and if we let in a fifth G5 Football program we’d really jeopardize building a strong football conference.

The B12 already has a SEC Vanderbilt-like football program. Its called UH. Now if UH could become AAU, UH could forego the SEC and replace Northwestern in the B10.
Vandy just beat Virginia Tech with a dynamic QB transfer from NM State, Diego Pavia.
Dude was 12-16 passing for 190 yards and two TDs. He also ran for 104 yards on 26 carries and added a rushing TD.
Kid brought NMSU to two straight bowl games, won at Auburn last year 31-10, and would’ve been a marketing whiz for us as UH trends more and more Hispanic.
But I guess we had who we needed already.
